Congratulations Hadley for completing middle school with FLYING COLORS.You look so grown up and now it's the Big One! We are sure your study habits will continue and you will make a decent GPA in high school. See by the blog you are into golf...good for you and hope you like it. Will you be trying out for the softball team in high school?
The trip to Washington looks like it was interesting and some nice photos. Did you learn more history or anything else?
Also, congratulations on your confirmation. The time has flown by so quickly seeing both you and Michael growing up and getting so involved. BUT, that is good for both of you. Signing off.

It's nice to hear from you!

I have shown a great interest in golf, and with some encouragment from my friends and family, I will be trying out for the HS golf team! I just got my clubs yesterday, so I'm eager to get on the course. I have also been taking a series of lessons to help teach me some of the basics. However, I am not going to play HS softball. This will be my last year and I will focus more of my time on golf!

The DC trip was very tiring, but fun. It was so cool to see all the monuments and really extend my learning. My favorite places we visited were Mount Vernon, The Washington Monument, The Newseum, The Holocaust Museum, and The WWII Memorial. It was a good experience, but we were going for 14 hours straight with hardly any sleep, so it was rough! But, it was worth it!

Confirmation seems like so long ago, but that was good too. Now I feel like I am really part of the church.

Michael is doing well too. This is his last year of baseball as well, and he will use the summers to focus on golf like me. Dad likes golf and Mom is even starting to learn so we can all golf as a family! Michael is going to enter middle school and I am begining high school, which is crazy! It is going very fast, but we are just trying to take it slow and enjoy our summer.

Email me any time. It is nice to catch up. My email is the same, but if yours is different just let me know.
